U.S. Extends Temporary Protected Status for Burundi Nationals, Automatically Renews Employment Authorization Documents

The U.S. government has extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Burundi nationals for 12 months, from November 2, 2006, to November 2, 2007, and automatically renews Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) for eligible beneficiaries until their current EAD expires on November 2, 2006.
