EPA Raises Environmental Concerns Over Surface and Ground Water Impacts in New EIS

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has expressed concerns about the potential environmental impacts of a proposed project on surface and ground water, as well as the protection of beneficial uses and non-targeted flora and fauna. The EPA has recommended that the final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) address how the project's goals and endpoints will be evaluated and how monitoring will be conducted.
