Medicare Program; Limitation on Recoupment of Provider and Supplier Overpayments

The proposed rule aims to prevent Medicare from recouping overpayments from providers and suppliers until a Qualified Independent Contractor (QIC) has made a decision on their appeal, changing how interest is paid in subsequent appeals.
