NMFS Proposes Exempted Fishing Permit for General Category Scallop Vessels

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced that it proposes to issue an Exempted Fishing Permit (EFP) to allow general category scallop vessels to conduct fishing operations in the northeastern United States, exempting them from certain gear restrictions, minimum fish size possession restrictions, and seasonal area restrictions.
