Spring Viremia of Carp; Import Restrictions on Certain Live Fish, Fertilized Eggs, and Gametes
The U.S. government has delayed the effective date of a rule restricting the importation of live fish, fertilized eggs, and gametes of certain fish species susceptible to spring viremia of carp, a contagious viral disease, from September 29, 2006, to October 29, 2006, to give importers and foreign exporters more time to comply with the requirements.
