FERC Reaches Settlements in Hydropower Licensing Proceedings

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has reached settlements in hydropower licensing proceedings under Part I of the Federal Power Act, with the goal of improving the licensing process. The settlements were announced by Chairman Joseph T. Kelliher and Commissioners Suedeen G. Kelly, Marc Spitzer, Philip D. Moeller, and Jon Wellinghoff.
