Rolls-Royce plc Rescinds Airworthiness Directive for Certain RB211 Trent 892 Series Engines

Rolls-Royce plc is rescinding airworthiness directive AD 97-06-13 for models RB211 Trent 892, 884, 877, 875, and 892B series turbofan engines, which previously required inspections and replacements of certain hardware and magnetic chip detectors to prevent oil loss and engine failures.
