Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory Seeks Incidental Harassment Authorization for Seismic Testing in Northern Gulf of Mexico

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is soliciting public comments on a proposed authorization to allow the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (L-DEO) to take small numbers of marine mammals during seismic testing and calibration in the northern Gulf of Mexico in Fall 2006.
