FRA Amends Federal Track Safety Standards for Continuous Welded Rail Inspection

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has updated its Federal Track Safety Standards to enhance the inspection of rail joints in continuous welded rail (CWR), following a review of public comments on an Interim Final Rule (IFR) published in 2005.
