EPA Approves Alabama's Revised Volatile Organic Compounds Implementation Plan

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved revisions to Alabama's State Implementation Plan (SIP) for reducing volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which were submitted by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) on November 18, 2005. The revised plan aims to reduce VOC emissions and improve air quality in the state.
