CMS Proposes Changes to Medicare Managed Care Beneficiary Reconsideration System
The US Department of Health and Human Services is proposing to modify the Medicare Managed Care Beneficiary Reconsideration (RECON) System, which was last updated in 2002, to simplify its identification number and expand disclosure to CMS grantees, while eliminating disclosure for constituent requests to congressional representatives.
