US Government Proposes Changes to PECOS System for Provider Enrollment and Ownership

The US Department of the Treasury is proposing modifications to the Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS) in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, with the goal of expanding disclosure to CMS grantees who perform tasks for the agency, while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
