FMCSA Receives Applications for Exemptions to Epilepsy Prohibition for Commercial Motor Vehicle Operators

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced the receipt of applications from four individuals seeking exemptions to operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) despite having a clinical diagnosis of epilepsy or seizure disorders, which could cause loss of consciousness or control while driving.
