CMS Proposes Changes to Medicaid Data System to Simplify Identification and Disclosure

The US Department of Health and Human Services is proposing modifications to the Person-Level Medicaid Data System, established in 1984, to simplify its identification and disclosure procedures, including assigning a new CMS identification number and expanding disclosure to CMS grantees.
