EPA Establishes Time-Limited Tolerance for Flumioxazin in Alfalfa

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an emergency exemption for the use of flumioxazin, a pesticide, on alfalfa, and established a maximum permissible level for residues of the chemical in the crop, effective until December 31, 2009.
