EPA Withdraws Direct Final Rule for Indiana's Ozone Nonattainment Area Redesignation

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is withdrawing its August 30, 2006, direct final rule approving Indiana's request to redesignate the 8-hour ozone nonattainment area of Allen County, Indiana, to attainment for the 8-hour ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS), due to an adverse comment received on September 4, 2006.
