Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone Over Tacoma Narrows Waterway

The U.S. Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety zone in the waters of Puget Sound, including the Tacoma Narrows, Washington, due to the installation of new power lines that may pose a threat to public safety and vessels. The zone is intended to protect all people and vessels using the Tacoma Narrows Waterway.
