EPA Approves Maryland's Revised Air Quality Implementation Plan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving a revision to Maryland's State Implementation Plan (SIP) to remove a 1984 plan for compliance at an American Cyanamid Company facility in Havre de Grace, Maryland. The revised plan requires the facility to meet stricter VOC emissions standards without averaging or 'bubbling' emissions over time.
