FAA Proposes Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 747-400 Series Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing a new airworthiness directive to replace a critical electronic system on Boeing 747-400, 747-400D, and 747-400F series airplanes, following two instances where all flight deck display units went blank in flight, in order to prevent loss of these displays and ensure safe flight operations.
