U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to Prepare Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Lake Sidney Lanier/Buford Dam Interim Water Storage Contracts

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has issued a Notice of Intent to prepare a Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed implementation of interim water storage contracts at Lake Sidney Lanier/Buford Dam in Georgia, as part of a settlement agreement related to a lawsuit involving Southeastern Federal Power Customers, Inc. and the Secretary of the Army.
