NMFS Announces Grant Funds for Vessel Owners to Comply with VMS Regulations in Gulf of Mexico Reef Fish Fishery

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is providing grant funds to reimburse vessel owners and/or operators who have purchased Enhanced Mobile Transmitter Units (E-MTU) to meet fishery regulations requiring the use of Vessel Monitoring Systems (VMS) in the Reef Fish Fishery of the Gulf of Mexico.
