FAA Proposes Revised Airworthiness Directive for Turbomeca S.A. Arrius 2F Turboshaft Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to revise an existing airworthiness directive for Turbomeca S.A. Arrius 2F turboshaft engines to reduce the applicability of the directive, aiming to prevent an uncommanded in-flight shutdown of the engine and subsequent forced autorotation landing and damage to the helicopter.
