USDA Adopts Temporary Relaxation of Washington Apricot Minimum Grade Requirement

The USDA has finalized a rule allowing Washington apricot growers to ship their produce at a lower grade, effective for the 2006 shipping season, in an effort to increase supply and producer returns.
