US Forest Service Extends Timber Sale Contracts Amid Public Interest

The US Forest Service has determined that there is substantial public interest in extending certain timber sale contracts for up to 10 years, allowing eligible contracts to be extended for up to one year and deferring payment due dates, subject to certain conditions and releases of liability.
