Los Angeles Seeks Expansion of Foreign-Trade Zone 202

The city of Los Angeles has submitted an application to the U.S. Council for International Business to expand Foreign-Trade Zone 202, a program that allows companies to operate tax-free within a designated area, in an effort to boost economic growth and attract new businesses to the region.
