California Walnut Marketing Board Raises Assessment Rate for Walnut Growers

The Walnut Marketing Board has increased the assessment rate for walnut growers in California from $0.0096 to $0.0101 per kernelweight pound of assessable walnuts, effective for the 2006-07 marketing year and beyond.
