General Electric Company GEnx Model Turbofan Engines to Meet Enhanced Safety Standards

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed special conditions for General Electric Company (GE) GEnx turbofan engine models, which will feature a novel design associated with the fan blades, in order to ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations and guarantee a level of safety equivalent to the existing standards.
