Payment of Premiums; Assessment of and Relief From Penalties

The US government has issued a new rule providing guidance on premium penalty waivers, including the definition of 'reasonable cause' for waiving these penalties, and is codifying this guidance in an appendix to its premium payment regulation for public convenience.
