Smithsonian Institution and National Capital Planning Commission Announce Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for National Museum of African American History and Culture

The Smithsonian Institution and National Capital Planning Commission are planning to prepare an environmental impact statement for the proposed National Museum of African American History and Culture, which will be located on a 5-acre site on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. and will assess the potential effects of constructing and operating the museum.
