FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for EADS SOCATA Model TBM 700 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for the EADS SOCATA Model TBM 700 airplanes to address an unsafe condition related to excessive lateral play caused by a nonconforming washer, which may lead to elevator trim tab bearing fatigue resistance deterioration. The proposed AD aims to correct this issue and ensure the safe operation of the affected aircraft.
