EPA Clears Maricopa County of Clean Air Act Deficiencies

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has concluded that Maricopa County, Arizona, has resolved all issues identified in a 2005 notice of deficiency related to its Clean Air Act title V operating permits program, thereby avoiding sanctions and a potential two-year operating permit freeze.
