USDA Amends Biobased Product Guidelines for Federal Procurement

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is amending its guidelines for designating biobased products for federal procurement to establish a new effective date for giving procurement preference to qualifying biobased water tank coatings and bedding, bed linens, and towels. This change follows the identification of additional manufacturers for these products, which were first designated for procurement preference in 2006.
