EPA Approves Vehicle Miles Traveled Offset Analysis for Baton Rouge Ozone Nonattainment Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the Baton Rouge Ozone Nonattainment Area Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) Offset Analysis, satisfying a requirement for the region after it was reclassified from serious to severe 1-hour ozone nonattainment, with the State demonstrating that motor vehicle emissions will not exceed a ceiling by 2005.
