HUD Proposes Revised Transition Funding Provision for Public Housing Operating Fund Program

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has proposed a rule to modify its regulations for transition funding under the Public Housing Operating Fund Program, which affects public housing agencies (PHAs) that may experience a decline in funding for federal fiscal year (FFY) 2007, with a capped loss of up to 5% of the difference between the two funding levels.
