US Department of Agriculture Reopens Comment Period for Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling of Fish and Shellfish

The US Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service is reopening the comment period for 90 days for the interim final rule on mandatory country of origin labeling for fish and shellfish, which became effective in 2005 and requires retailers to notify customers of the country of origin and production method of certain products.
