Bureau of Indian Affairs Cancels Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed BIA Route 27 Reconstruction

The Bureau of Indian Affairs has decided to cancel the Environmental Impact Statement for the reconstruction of BIA Route 27 on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, opting instead to prepare an Environmental Assessment for the project, which was initially intended to be an Environmental Impact Statement.
