FAA Proposes Revocation of Class E Airspace in Several Alaskan Locations

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed revoking controlled airspace descriptions for several Alaskan airports, including Adak, Atka, Cold Bay, Nelson Lagoon, Saint George Island, Sand Point, Shemya, St. Paul Island, and Unalaska, AK, as part of a concurrent airspace action (docket 06-AAL-29). The proposed revocation would not affect controlled airspace at these airports, except for the revocation of the Shemya Class E surface area.
