Model Notice of Pending Election of Multiemployer Plan Status Under the Pension Protection Act of 2006

The Pension Protection Act of 2006 allows certain multiemployer plans to opt out of being treated as such, and requires plan administrators to notify participants, labor organizations, and employers of this decision, as well as the U.S. Department of Labor to provide a model notice.
