DoD Issues Final Rule to Update DFARS Designation of Contracting Officer's Representative

The US Department of Defense (DoD) has issued a final rule to update the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) regarding the designation of a contracting officer's representative. The rule clarifies the authority of a contracting officer's representative and relocates relevant text to the DFARS companion resource, Procedures, Guidance, and Information.
