Establishment of a New Fee Area at Voyageurs National Park

Voyageurs National Park in northern Minnesota plans to introduce a new $35 per night amenity recreation fee for two group camp sites starting summer 2007, as required by the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act of 2004. The fee will be used to address deferred maintenance, cover collection costs, and pay for contractor-provided reservation services.
