US FDA Rule Exempts Pesticide-Treated Food Packaging from Certain Regulations
The FDA has issued a new rule exempting food packaging treated with pesticides from certain regulations under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), allowing these ingredients to be used as food additives instead of pesticide chemical residues.
