FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A318, A319, A320, and A321 Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address potential failure of the trimmable horizontal stabilizer actuator's primary load path, which could lead to loss of control of the airplane. The proposed AD would shorten the repetitive interval for inspecting the upper THSA attachment to prevent latent loading and eventual failure.
