SEC Proposes Amendments to Regulation SHO and Rule 10a-1 to Streamline Short Selling Regulations

The Securities and Exchange Commission is proposing changes to the short sale price test under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to provide a more consistent regulatory environment for short selling, removing restrictions on execution prices and prohibiting self-regulatory organizations from having price tests.
