NMFS Proposes Exempted Fishing Permit for Northeastern U.S. Fisheries

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, NMFS, has proposed recommending an exempted fishing permit (EFP) that would allow three commercial fishing vessels to conduct restricted fishing operations in the Northeastern United States, with the goal of reducing bycatch of cod while maintaining selectivity for haddock.
