FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for CFM56 Series Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for CFM International CFM56 Series turbofan engines, requiring the replacement of certain fuel filters to prevent loss of engine thrust during takeoff or landing, following 12 reports of failed fuel filters.
