U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Proposes to Remove Virginia Northern Flying Squirrel from Endangered List

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposes to remove the West Virginia northern flying squirrel from the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife due to its recovery, based on a review of scientific and commercial data indicating the subspecies is no longer endangered.
