EPA Publishes Final 2006 Effluent Guidelines Program Plan to Reduce Pollutant Discharges

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released its final 2006 Effluent Guidelines Program Plan, outlining the agency's review of existing regulations and the identification of new categories for pretreatment standards to reduce pollutant discharges from industrial facilities discharging into US waters or through Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTWs).
