Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Cooney McKay Project in Montana

The US Forest Service will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for a proposal to harvest timber and reduce hazardous fuels in the Cooney McKay Project area, approximately 35 miles southeast of Bigfork, Montana, in an effort to gather further information and comments from relevant agencies and stakeholders.
