EPA Approves Maryland's Redesignation of Ozone Nonattainment Area and Maintenance Plan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the State of Maryland's request to redesignate the Kent and Queen Anne's 8-hour ozone nonattainment area as an attainment area, and also approved the associated maintenance plan, which ensures continued compliance with the 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standard for the next 12 years.
