SEC Proposes New Guidance for Companies' Internal Control Evaluations

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is proposing new interpretive guidance to help companies of all sizes evaluate their internal control over financial reporting in an efficient and effective manner, with the goal of making it clearer that compliance with the guidance can satisfy existing rules.
